1. PROCEEDINGS OF THE 16TH AMECEA PLENARY
ASSEMBLY: Reconciliation through Justice and Peace.
This publication brings together proceedings of the
16th Plenary Assembly of AMECEA held in Lusaka Zambia
from 27th June -7th July 2008 whose theme was
Reconciliation through Justice and Peace . The Plenary
Assembly served the purpose of renewing and refocusing
the commitment of the Church leadership in the Region
to be more vigilant and proactive in bringing about
Reconciliation through Justice and Peace which is
among the challenges of Evangelization that the Church
faces in the Region.
2. PROCEEDINGS OF THE AMECEA SYNODAL
DELEGATES WORKSHOP: Shaping the prophetic voice of the
region.
This publication brings together proceedings of the
AMECEA Synodal delegates Workshop which took place in
Nairobi, Kenya from 2nd -6th March 2009. The AMECEA
Bishops intended to boost active participation of the
entire Family of God in implementing the outcomes of
the Synod. This publication is a tool that
helps, not only Synod delegates but all people of good
will in Africa so that they may be more focused in
advancing the course for Evangelization through
Reconciliation, Justice and Peace.
3. PROCEEDINGS OF AMECEA YOUTH WORKSHOP:
Communication at the Service of Justice, Peace and
Reconciliation.
This publication brings together proceedings of the
Youth workshop organized by the Pontifical Council for
Social Communications in collaboration with AMECEA
Social Communications department,. The workshop was
held in Nairobi, Kenya from 27th to 30th April 2009.
Communication for peace building seeks the support of
communication media to disseminate messages of peace
and educate people throughout the world and the
African continent in particular on Peace, Justice and
Reconciliation so that the world could be a better
place to live. Furthermore, it helps societies recover
from the legacies of conflict or tension.
